In this class, we will use various yoga asanas to expand the rib cage, mobilize the shoulders blades and lift the sternum. These actions lead to reduced strain on the neck and shoulders, and improvement in posture and breathing. Twists, supported backbends and arm actions will prepare the body for soft expansive breathing in pranayama, the art of yogic breathing.
